How I get protein without plugging up my digestive system

How I get protein without plugging up my digestive system

Many people think meat-less means protein deficient. Nothing could be further from the truth. Have you seen Game Changers on Netflix yet?

Being meat-less/animal-free has worked for this body for a long time, but especially the past 10 years in my post-thyroid cancer era. I simply cannot function well with someone else’s hormones in my body.

😳

Yes, seriously, whenever animal products are consumed (meat, dairy, eggs) we are ingesting some else’s hormones- and most likely- the synthetic hormones that have been pumped in to the animal to plump it up for better yield!

😳

What’s cool about being a woman, in my opinion, is the monthly cycle. That’s right, I love the entire cycle and all that it tells me…like what is working for my body/emotions and what clearly is not.

I have done several simple food elimination 6 week trial periods that have helped me identify problem foods. Here's what I found!

🍳 When I purposefully opted out of eggs, I no longer had the obvious nausea that came after eating eggs. The mood swings also went away, it is very noticeable that I am more balanced emotionally all month long.

πŸ– When I purposefully opted out of meat, the full feeling in my colon went away, of course, because there was no putrifying meat in there. My fear of colon cancer was relieved. I can’t say I noticed hormonal changes as I wasn’t eating a ton of meat to really notice, but my always goal is to prevent cancer recurrence, so hormone pumped animal flesh was easy to eliminate.

πŸ§€ When I purposefully opted out of dairy, it was difficult! I love cheese and cheese curds! But my body didn’t like dairy. In less than a week, I was producing way less mucus, and I have to say it’s SO nice to wake up in the morning without being stuffy & phlegmy!

🍞When I purposefully opted out of wheat, the chubby tummy I’ve had since teenage years went away. Also the weird bumpy red patch on both my triceps went away.

Okay, so here's my delicious & simple breakfast packed with plant protein:

My Recipe:
Cook organic oats in water. Stir often to prevent sticking.
Stir in plant-based milk
Stir in the other ingredients
Stir in maple syrup 🍁
Pour into bowl
Top with organic fruit
Enjoy this tummy-filling, colon loving, happy hormones plant protein breakfast
