Simple Green Juice Recipe- my fav!

I love a good green juice and the way it floods my cells with the nutrients my body needs for immune system support & natural hormone support. 

I also love how little effort it takes to digest, which is the point of juicing. 

A green smoothie is a must-have in my day, too, and it’s an important part of my fiber intake & digestive health for the day.

But juicing is one of my first loves! 

It’s what I turned to after my health crisis, and what helped me to un-learn and re-learn lots of habits that did not serve me well. (more about that--> here)

Juicing produce daily, upwards of 64oz, became second-nature to me! And I embraced this new healthy habit quickly! 

It was the exact opposite of going through my fav drive-thru for a burger, cheese curds, and poisonous soda... and I was LOVING the change!


Juicing 2 carrots + 1 granny smith apple several times per day got me into a rhythm in the kitchen! After just a few days it only took me 8 minutes from start to finish!

  • wash produce 

  • then rough chop 

  • shove into juicer 

  • pour into a glass 

And then for clean up……get this…….I’d simply take some hot water and pour it into the top of the juicer to flush it out (yes, like a toilet flush πŸ˜‚) because I was going to use the juicer again in an hour or so. That was my juicing time-saving hack!

After many years of juicing, there were some great tasting juices and there were some terrible ones!

My absolute favorite recipe is below. 

The nutrients my body needs to help it operate like a well-oiled machine are in this juice. 

πŸ₯¬ From the greens we get: magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, Vitamin A, lutein, zeaxanthin.

🍈 From the Lime we get: Vitamin C, phosphorous, calcium; anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory.

🍏 And from the Granny Smith Apples we get: Vitamins B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, phosphorous, sodium.
